IR-D joins Global Investigative Journalism Network

Investigative Reporting Denmark has been approved for membership in the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN). GIJN is the world’s leading association of investigative reporting organizations, with 82 member groups in 38 countries.

– We feel that the centers in the network are among our most natural partners in international investigative projects. We’re also very pleased with the recoginition that it gives us in a time, where we’re focusing on fundraising, says Nils Mulvad, one of the founders.

As a member, IR-D is invited to participate in the next Global Investigative Journalism Conference, which takes places in Rio de Janeiro, October 2013.

GIJN expects the conference will be the largest international gathering of investigative journalist in history. Follow GIJN on Facebook and Twitter or participate in the global mailing list Global Listserv. Subscribe to the Global Network News newsletter here.
